Sorry, it’s been a while. Busy few weeks! Lots of assignments due in…though that’s probably not an excuse.
Anyway, this week (finally) we’re onto H in our Bible ABC’s. So I thought maybe we could look at hope. Seems a bit typical, doesn’t it? But hope is so important to us, especially in this day and age. In a time of uncertainty, isn’t it great that we have a sure hope? Steadfast and unmovable (see Hebrews 6:19).
Our hope is also a living hope (1 Peter 1:3). It’s something we can be sure of because it’s living. Jesus is alive…that’s what our hope is. Because, if He wasn’t, there would be no hope, because the price of our sins would not have been paid. That’s the basis of our entire hope.
So in this time of difficulty and uncertainty, we can be certain of one thing. Our steadfast, unmovable, living hope.
