I was recently at a conference where I took a children’s session for children between 0 and 8. One day, I talked to them about prayer, and it was so good to see how well they understood the importance of prayer in a Christian’s life. These children knew so much about how prayer can change a person’s life. They knew that someone can pray in any situation and at any time, and they knew that they could pray about anything. If they understand and believe this, than so can we. I think that sometimes we underestimate the understanding that children have. When they prayed, they prayed for each other, for their parents, and for their friends. When we pray, we can also “Look to the Lord and his strength, and seek His face always” 1 Chronicles 16:11. We can learn from the children, who although they are young, have so much faith.
