‘Therefore, take the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand. Stand therefore…’Ephesians 6:13-14a.
Some might say that this subject of standing for God is a silly and unnecessary subject and a waste of time. Do you really think so? You have read the verse above and can see that God has drawn us and spoken to our hearts to ask us to stand for God when many people don’t want us to. Remember that we are speaking of God Himself; the all powerful One.
Sometimes people say ‘I can’t stand this any longer’ meaning that they’ve had enough. God wants us to live in this world as representatives and to remain in a position where we want to be adverts for Him and be willing to go through good and bad for Him. Stand up and be counted!
